Recertification: Field Training and Certification

Individuals who have been certified within the last year should enroll in the recertification program. This provides field practice and certification testing.

Initial Certification: Classroom, Field Training, and Certification

Individuals who are seeking certification for the first time or who have not been certified within the last year should enroll in the initial certification program. This provides classroom instruction in addition to field training and certification testing.

First-Day Training Schedule

Recertification

Field training and certification testing, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Those who pass the field certification test on the first day are not required to attend on the second day.

Initial Certification

On-site check-in/registration, 8:00 to 8:15 a.m.; classroom session, 8:15 a.m. to noon

  • What to expect at field certification testing

Field training and certification testing, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Field practice and certification testing are held outdoors regardless of weather; dress appropriately for conditions.
