Recertification: Field Training and Certification

Individuals who have been certified within the last year should enroll in the recertification program. This provides field practice and certification testing.

Initial Certification: Classroom, Field Training, and Certification

Individuals who are seeking certification for the first time or who have not been certified within the last year should enroll in the initial certification program. This provides classroom instruction in addition to field training and certification testing.

Field certification testing is held outdoors regardless of weather; dress appropriately for conditions.

Those who pass the field certification test on the first day are not required to attend the second day of training.
